As a Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and providing strategic guidance to support the company’s growth and stability. This position involves a mix of financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and operational oversight, ensuring that our financial practices are aligned with business objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining financial models to analyze and forecast business performance.
- Monitoring key financial indicators such as revenue, costs, and profitability, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, offering insights and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement financial strategies that support overall business goals.
- Evaluating and improving internal controls to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Conducting variance analysis for budget vs. actual performance to identify cost-saving or revenue-enhancing opportunities.
- Supporting decision-making with financial insights, including investment analysis and pricing strategies.
- Participating in strategic planning and budgeting processes to align financial goals with the company’s vision.
- Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, adhering to GAAP and accounting standards.
- Coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and tax compliance.
- Managing cash flow and working capital to support optimal business operations.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, controlling, and accounting, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
