For a client opportunity, we are seeking a Senior Expert in Master Data with German language skills to support Master Data management and related operational activities. This role works closely with various stakeholders and contributes to data quality, efficiency, and standardization. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and regularly updating process documentation for all activities performed by the team.
- Continuously reviewing and improving processes to implement best practices that are efficient and cost-effective.
- Ensuring the team’s service delivery meets agreed SLAs and KPIs, and overseeing successful transitions during project launches.
- Organizing and managing daily activities within the Master Data team, setting quality standards and ensuring efficiency.
- Executing complex tasks within the Master Data domain and acting as a point of escalation for stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with the Master Data Manager to drive harmonization and automation of data flows.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economy, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Master Data within a global business services environment.
- End-to-end knowledge of master data processes for at least one data object.
- Strong ability to analyze large datasets, perform data profiling, and support data cleansing.
- Prior experience in prioritizing tasks within a GBS organization.
- SAP ERP experience, especially within FI/CO/SD modules, and familiarity with data display and query building.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Navision, SAP) and advanced MS Office skills, with Hyperion experience as a plus.
- Fluent in German and English for business communication.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong desire for personal development.
