Role Overview
This role is a part of the Business Platforms team, dedicated to developing and managing digital platforms that drive efficiency, connectivity, and innovation across the organization. The team specializes in areas such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Marketing Automation, Content Management Systems (CMS), Information Technology Management Systems (ITMS), E-Commerce, Intranet solutions, and InsurTech.
As a Senior Power Platforms Developer, you will tackle complex business challenges with Microsoft’s Power Platform, driving the adoption and growth of low-code tools within the company’s operations in Colombia. This position offers the chance to design creative, impactful solutions while advancing the company’s low-code ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, Code, Test, and Deploy: Develop Dynamics 365 application modules in line with Architecture Blueprint specifications, ensuring they meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive design specifications to guide development and deployment.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Execute and document tests to confirm applications meet agreed-upon standards.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients and client teams to ensure business requirements are fully understood and implemented.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C#, .Net, JavaScript, SQL Server, and solid design principles.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform tools, Model-Driven Apps, Dynamics CRM, code components, and Dataverse.
- MS Dynamics 365 Knowledge: Familiarity with MS D365 CE capabilities and architecture, with the ability to determine when to utilize out-of-the-box configurations vs. custom development.
- Web Development Experience: Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JS frameworks such as jQuery, Angular JS, and TypeScript.
- Application Lifecycle Management & DevOps: Practical knowledge of ALM and DevOps practices.
- Additional Tools: Experience with related MS technologies like Resco Mobile CRM, SharePoint, Microsoft Flows, PowerApps, PowerBI, and integration platforms like Logic Apps, SSIS, Scribe, and BizTalk is highly desirable.
