IT Solutions Engineer

For a client opportunity, we are seeking an IT Solutions Engineer to join an international team dedicated to intelligent automation and digital workflows. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing technology solutions with a focus on VMware products. Key responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the design and implementation of solutions based on VMware products.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues within VMware environments and documenting processes.
• Collaborating with the security team to uphold security best practices.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and system engineers.
• Integrating and configuring vCenter for centralized management.
• Using VMware Aria suite for automation and orchestration.
• Developing and managing deployment, reporting, and project solutions using scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• Documenting system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Supporting and maintaining server infrastructure.
• Coordinating with local IT teams across various regions to support critical systems and applications.
• Managing priorities for design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of infrastructure systems.
• Providing application support for software in production environments.

An experience that matters: Your Skills

• Proficient knowledge and experience with VMware technologies such as VCloud, Aria automation, vCenter, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, AVI, Skyline, and Aria suite.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory and its components.
• Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure, such as Dell VxRail, is a plus.
• Knowledge of coding languages, especially Python and PowerShell.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Collaborative team-oriented approach.
• Willingness to work late shifts (business hours: 3pm - midnight).
