For a client Opportunist we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take on a pivotal role in the development and support of our backend software systems, with a strong focus on high-quality, scalable, and reliable code. Your responsibilities will include:
- Specification, design, and development of backend software.
- Strengthening the expertise and capabilities of our development team.
- Designing and documenting concepts, APIs, and overall software architecture.
- Integrating external interfaces and tools to ensure smooth interoperability.
- Creating automated tests to ensure comprehensive code testing.
- Providing 2nd and 3rd-level support for the software.
- Serving as a sparring partner for architects to discuss and evaluate design and architecture strategies.
An experience that matters: Your skills
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development, preferably with Java.
- A degree from a university of Applied Sciences or higher education in IT/Software Development, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated responsibility for software architecture and design decisions.
