Senior System Test Engineer (Manual)

For a client opportunity, we are seeking a Senior System Test Engineer (Manual) to join the Solution Quality Assurance Team. This role involves setting up and maintaining test environments for electronic access control solutions, working closely with teams across Germany, Switzerland, and Spain. Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in all test activities for electronic access control solutions at the system level, covering multiple hardware and software components.
• Setting up and maintaining complex test environments.
• Creating and executing functional and non-functional test cases based on use case scenarios and defined requirements.
• Analyzing systems under test to determine optimal testing approach and scheduling.
• Documenting test results and analyzing deviations from expected outcomes.
• Engaging in quarterly PI planning sessions to organize tasks for the upcoming three-month period.

An experience that matters: Your Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, particularly with structured test processes.
• Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Experience in wiring and handling electrical devices.
• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies like SCRUM, KANBAN, or SAFe is a plus.
• Flexibility for travel as needed.
